Editorial Policy

Last updated: January 2026

This Editorial Policy explains how MyAntiCare selects topics, verifies information, and handles content involving specific products.

How Topics Are Selected

We prioritize topics that affect everyday device use — malware basics, account security, privacy settings, and safe browsing habits — chosen for their practical relevance to readers rather than search trends alone.

How Factual Claims Are Checked

Where an article makes a factual claim about how a specific feature or technology works, we aim to describe general, stable mechanics rather than details likely to change frequently. Where a detail varies by product plan, version, or region, we say so explicitly rather than stating it as a fixed fact.

How Product Information Is Handled

When we describe or compare named products, we aim to present general, verifiable feature categories rather than specific claims we cannot confirm. We do not present promotional claims from vendor marketing as though they were independently verified facts, and we do not accept payment in exchange for favorable coverage of any product.

Editorial Content vs Advertising

MyAntiCare's layout is built to support advertising in the future. Any advertising will be visually and structurally separated from editorial content and clearly labeled as such. Editorial articles are written independent of any advertising relationship.

Purpose of Comparison Articles

Comparison-style articles on this site are intended to help readers understand how products differ across common feature categories, so they can evaluate options for their own situation. They are not intended to steer readers toward a particular purchase, and we do not present any product as an unqualified "best" choice.

How Corrections Are Handled

See our dedicated Corrections Policy for details on how we review and respond to reported errors.

How Content Is Updated

Articles include both a "published" and an "updated" date. When a meaningful factual change is made to an article after publication, we update the "updated" date to reflect that revision.

Conflicts of Interest

MyAntiCare does not accept free products, payment, or other consideration from software companies in exchange for coverage. If this ever changes for any piece of content, it will be clearly disclosed within that content.
